I’m a dual board-certified orthodontist and oral & maxillofacial radiologist (basically a tooth jockey and an X-ray expert). Over my career, I’ve split my time between clinic, teaching, research, and running healthcare systems, mostly figuring out how to make things work better and faster for patients and students.

Outside of work, I’m usually:

• traveling somewhere new

• in the gym or making art or music

• getting competitive over foosball or bowling

• cooking a meal or grabbing coffee

A few quick facts:

• Jordanian American, fluent in English and Arabic

• youngest of five, which is why I picked up sarcasm and survival instincts early

• always balancing that line between discipline and fun, meaning and mischief
